I went to the doctor for the first time on Tuesday, and I got to hear your heart beat. It was thrilling. I couldn’t help grinning from ear to ear. I’ve been feeling so sick and miserable that I sometimes forget that there’s a purpose to it. You are so tiny that I can’t even feel the lump of where you are yet, but you still have a heart beat. Pregnancy is such an amazing experience. I wish I could explain the feelings I have, having you grow inside of me. Hearing your heart beat for the first time made you real to me. It made me realize that there is a tiny person inside of me. It was a wonderful experience!
